Association of Bataan Event Suppliers (ABES) — Effective May 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and using the ABES Customer Portal ("Portal"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use this Portal.

2. The Service

The ABES Customer Portal allows registered customers to discover member event suppliers in Bataan and send inquiries directly to them. ABES acts solely as a directory and communication platform and is not a party to any agreement between customers and suppliers.

3. Eligibility and Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old to register.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must notify ABES immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• ABES reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Privacy and Data Protection

In accordance with Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations, ABES collects and processes personal data lawfully, fairly, and for specified legitimate purposes.

Personal Data Collected

• Name, email address, and mobile number provided during registration
• Inquiry content submitted through the Portal

Purpose of Collection

• To enable you to send inquiries to ABES member suppliers
• To send account verification codes and system notifications
• To improve the Portal's features and user experience

Data Sharing
Your name, email, and contact number are shared with the specific ABES member supplier to whom you direct an inquiry. ABES will not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Retention
Your personal data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting ABES.

5. Your Rights as a Data Subject

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of your personal data held by ABES
• Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Erasure — request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Data Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
• Object — object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdraw Consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing

6. Cookies and Session Storage

The Portal uses browser session storage to maintain your login session. No cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Submit spam, abusive, or harassing inquiries to suppliers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Use the Portal for any purpose that violates Philippine law

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Portal, including the ABES name, logo, and supplier profiles, is the property of ABES or its respective owners and may not be reproduced without written consent.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Portal is provided "as is." ABES makes no warranties regarding the accuracy of supplier information or the outcome of inquiries. ABES is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Portal or from transactions with suppliers facilitated through this Portal.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes shall be resolved before the appropriate courts in the Province of Bataan, Philippines.

11. Updates to These Terms

ABES may revise these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Portal after revisions constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
